Real Good, Feel Good

About this...
For four years The Snackery at Hollow Reed Holistic put out a menu to appeal to those of us who prefer to fuel with authentic, organic whole foods.
Our gorgeous little lounge was open to provide our fantastic elixirs and treats, soups and salads.
Thanks to all our patrons that supported our project and continue to support the world of organic food as medicine.
Stay tuned for the cook book!!! Our delicious recipes and loving rebellion will soon be in print~
About that...
Nancy Hall III started her career as a food activist at the age of eight. Asking her mom what part of the cow the sausage came from and getting an unsatisfactory guffaw in response, her suspicion led to thirty years of investigation.
Busting out of every old paradigm that was thrown at her, she started out comparing the sound of sizzling bacon to the rain on the roof of the camper trailor, serving tables at the Night Hawk in West Hawk Lake. Swimming in the lake between shifts and breathing the fresh boreal air... From there she became one of the first and cutest barristas Winnipeg had yet known. The year was 1993 and a little cafe that i forget the name of, Java something something i think, popped up on the passageway from Portage Place Mall to The Bay. Here she displayed a ridiculous talent for layering coffee and milk. She was soon fired for one unfortunate sleep-in-cident, and those bastards let a go thing go....hahaha....Busting out of prairie parameters, she moved west, and here's where the story really got going....
I'm telling you, I'm writing a book. . .
